Dr Groshell attended Jacksonville University for his undergraduate studies. Following graduation he went to Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He had 2 years surgical residency starting at Jacksonville Medical Center, followed by residency at Haddassah Medical Center in Jerusalem., Israel.
After that he attended medical school at University Iberoamericana, Santo Domingo, in the Dominican Republic.
He has hospital affiliations with St Vincent’s Hospital in Jacksonville. Professional memberships include American Podiatric Medical Association and the Florida Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr Groshell is happily married with five children and 1 pug.
Dr. Shultz started his medical education at Alderson Broaddas College where he received his Physician’s Assistant degree. He then attended University of West Virginia where he worked in Orthopedic Surgery as an Orthopedic P.A. for 3 years. After that, Dr Shultz ran an outpost medical clinic at Snowshoe, West Virginia where he focused on primary care and orthopedic related injuries. He furthered his education at The Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine where he received his DPM degree. Upon his move to Jacksonville he began his work with sports medicine and biomechanics of the foot and ankle. A year at Harris County Podiatric Residency Foundation gave him intensive surgical podiatric training. When he returned to Jacksonville, he ran a private practice for 20 years.
Dr Shultz is board certified by the American Board of Podiatrics and Primary Care, and the American Board of Medical Specialties in Podiatry and Podiatric Surgery. He was granted Fellowship status in the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine.
In his spare time, Dr Shultz kayaks all over the US, re-visits the slopes where he raced and coached for the US Ski team for 10 years, and is still dancing with the Jacksonville ballet theatre with whom he is a member of 20 years and has danced all over the US.
